Geography Graduate Student Organization

The Geography Graduate Student Organization promotes service and community among all members of the Geography Department. Membership is open and encouraged among all current Geography department graduate students to foster communication both among the graduate students as well as between graduate students and faculty. Each year, the organization presents the Globe-O-Mania competition held during Geography Awareness Week as well as sponsors other events such as a film series and orienteering with Orienteer Kansas. Geography GSO also organizes the departmental brownbag series, annual AAG graduate student practice session lunch, lunch room coffee sales, and conference trips. To become involved in planning or attending these events, please join us at any GSO meeting. Information can be found on the bulletin board outside the lunch room or by contacting geoggso@ku.edu.
